Why you so SERIOUS PIE?...
Hi All,
Sorry I've been MIA! My car got broken into near my new place in SLU and my camera was stolen, but now I'm back with some more blogging and a new camera :) We celebrated one of my best friend's birthdays last night (Alexis) but don't have any good photos to show for it... HOWEVER...my boyfriend Rob and I thought we'd check out Serious Pie down the street for some Brunch Recoverin' and I snapped a few photos from there!
Robbie had the Hamhock & Collard Greens Biscuit while I kept it real southern with Zach's Biscuit (Country Fried Chicken, Bacon, Fried Eggs, Gravy all on a biscuit). It was wonderful, but probably the first and last time I will eat that for fear of an early heart attack. They're definitely worth checking out, especially the lemonade ;)

2 Years & Counting
My boyfriend Robbie and I have been together for 2 years. I don't usually post about us, but if this isn't a time to, then I'm not sure what is. We met a few years back in college at a party thanks to our good friend Anthony. You know how relationships are; you fall into them, so we chose our official date this year: August 8th-plus 8/8 is good fortune if you're Chinese (and we both kind of are...)
Memories included but not limited to:
-Being chased by wild dogs with only the moonlight as our guide
-Sailing with dolphins jumping in the horizon
-Dressing up as a Doughnut and Police Officer
-Riding the circumference of Bali on motorbikes (wiping out 2x)
-Contracting a severe case of Senioritis leading to 12 hour Halo days
-Witnessing a handful of extremely mediocre movies
-Camping like dirty dirty hippies at the Gorge (3x)
-Discovering bars & restaurants that would have been better left uncovered
-Discovering bars & restaurants that are absolutely blog worthy :)
Thank you for putting up with my cat despite your deathly feline allergies. Can't wait for what's next. I love you.
Here are some photos from our dinner :)

Cheers to many more years, Daisy

Camping Part 2! (A bit overdue...)
Hi All!
I'm sorry I haven't posted in a while, I try to post at least once a week on here. I just started a new job at Illtech Auto Salon, and we have just been slammed at work! After I transfer some photos over, I'll show you guys what projects we have been working on :)
Anyway, here are some more photos from my last camping trip post! Enjoy :)
Glad to have had the opportunity to introduce you to some of my paternal side family members :) Promise my next post will come sooner than last time. Thanks for visiting!

Friday Harbor 2012
Every year around the 4th of July, my dad, sister, and I hop on a ferry boat to Friday Harbor, and we camp at Lakedale Resort. This year, we gathered in as many others as we could (aunts, cousins, uncles, boyfriend) to go on this caravan with us. My aunt and uncle flew in from Taipei with my two cousins Lee and Madeleine (Bean for short). My cousin Chris flew in from Atlanta, and my uncle came in from Muraga. Here's my dad's side of my family! I'll add more camping photos later :)
Daisy
David (Dad)
Iris (Sister)
Robbie (Boyfriend)
Madeleine/Bean (Cousin)
Lorraine (Aunt--Dad's younger sister)
Joseph (Uncle--Dad's younger brother)
Lee (Cousin)
& with the family around, an anti-diet/marshmallow party ensues...

My Best Friend's Graduation
My best friend, Nika Lin, and I have known each other for 16 years. We met on the playground at Woodridge Elementary in the 1st grade while playing on the monkey bars both by ourselves. (This is something that ESL kids do since they don't have others to talk to...) We both spoke Mandarin so naturally, we ate lunch together whenever we could.
We weren't very similar, and we still aren't. She's a vegetarian, extremely neat, loves tax accounting, stresses out when there's nothing to do, and can give you the low-down on all the newest ios/droid apps. ln the extra downtime she's accumulated since graduation, she's gotten into "stress testing" all her friends with this really cool droid app....she also measures her sleep to make sure her sleep pattern is consistent. I, on the other hands, eat everything in sight (some call me a scavenger), use my floor as an extension of my dresser, and throw away all my receipts. These dissimilarities are what makes us Pig and Pooh; we are a dynamic duo. I love her for the unspoken connections we have (no homo), and for our ability to keep each other sane. Nika Lin is my best friend, room-mate, and sister. This past year has gone by so quickly [insert more cliche quotes here].....What I'm trying to say is just that I am so proud and happy. Happy Happy Joy Joy Ren & Stimpy Style.
ANYWAY, here are some photos from graduation. Congratulations UW Foster Class of 20121!
